A Charity of the Month

Shoes for Kids

The Kiwanis Shoes for Kids Project purpose is to provide new tennis shoes to any student in the Charlotte County Public School System which needs them to begin the new school year or throughout the academic year. During the 2015 summer drive we were able to meet our goal number of 5000 new pairs of schools for the start of the school year. During the 2014-15 academic year, with the generosity of many supporters, we were able to deliver 6380 pairs of new sneakers to local school children in the K-12 Charlotte County Public School system.

Throughout the academic year, we strive to continually meet the shoe needs of local school children. We know this goal is only realized through the hope and faith of our community. Thank you for your support and dedication to this project. In the first 11 years of the project, we have collected and distributed 50,495 new pairs of sneakers.
