🎁 Charity of the Month: Christmas Cheer. Bring a new, unwrapped toy or a Walmart gift card!
As we approach the holiday season, this is the time of year when our Parrot Head spirit of giving can make an extra-special difference in our community!
Once again, we are teaming up with the City of Punta Gorda Fire Department and Police Department to make the holiday season a little brighter for children in our community. As in years past, our club is donating 200 blankets in addition to toys and gifts donated by our club members. Those blankets are being sent directly to the main firehouse for distribution to local children.
The goal each year is to bring extra joy and holiday magic to Charlotte County children as they gather at the Baker Center to choose their presents, with each child receiving three special gifts: a book, a blanket, and a toy to enjoy this Christmas.
How Can You Help?
The Charlotte Harbor Parrot Head Club is excited to help spread some CHRISTMAS CHEER!
There are two ways you can contribute:
New, unwrapped toys
Walmart gift cards of any amount
Bring your donations to the November Phlocking at TT’s Tiki Bar on Tuesday, November 10. We’ll collect everything there and deliver it together as a club.
Every year, this wonderful tradition hopes to reach even more children and families throughout our community. With the generosity of our members, we can continue making a meaningful difference, one gift and one smile at a time.
No donation is too small, and every contribution helps make the holidays a little more magical!
Let’s show our community what Parrot Heads are all about. We know how to have fun, but we also know how important it is to give back and help those around us. ❤️
Thank you for helping make Christmas brighter for children and families in our community!
Can’t Attend? You Can Still Help!
Not back in Southwest Florida yet? Don’t worry! You can still be part of the good we’re doing from wherever you are. Support our Christmas Cheer effort or our ongoing food pantry drive with an online donation at chphc.com/donate.
🥫 Don’t Forget: Holiday Food Drive!
Mark your calendars for our holiday food drive at the Punta Gorda Walmart, 5001 Taylor Rd., on Saturday, November 21, from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Come help us collect food donations from the public, and let’s overwhelm St. Vincent de Paul again this year! 🦜
