January Phlocking Highlights: Community, Music, and Giving Back!

Our January phlocking on the 14th did not disappoint. Heather Vidal put on an excellent show and we collected  $1580 for Meals on Wheels. Just a reminder, when writing checks to the charity please make them out to chphc. It’s easier for us to track our charity donations that way. The place was packed, and it was nice to see our “seasonal” members back. We welcomed 10 new members to our club.

We loaded Meredith’s car with warm coats to take to C.A.R.E. Thanks to all of you for pulling that together last minute. There was a little confusion with the reserved tables being held for Elk members. We got that cleared up and there will not be any reserved tables at our next phlocking and moving forward. The parade committee presented their two gold trophies, Best Float, and the Grand Marshall, to the club which they won at the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade. Want to meet new people, and help our club, volunteer for these activities. Our new website is up and is loaded with lots of activities to sign up for. Renewing your membership has been simplified.

Renew or sign up your friends on the website and you will be ready for the next phlocking with Donny Brewer. Please make sure you wear your lanyards to the phlockings with your 2025 sticker.
