May Phlocking Charity: Peace River Wildlife Center
Join us for our May Phlocking on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 PM at TT’s Tiki Bar! Bring a friend, bring your donations, and come enjoy another great evening of music, friendship, and Parrot Head fun.
This month, we’re proud to support Peace River Wildlife Center (PRWC), a non-profit rehabilitation facility located at Ponce de Leon Park. PRWC treats more than 2,500 injured animals each year and provides a permanent home for 80 resident animals, including eagles, hawks, tortoises, and more. Operating entirely on donations and grants, PRWC relies on volunteers and community support to help cover approximately $90,000 in yearly expenses.
Your donations directly help fund the care of Florida’s native wildlife.

May Phlocking Entertainment:

Our May entertainment will be James Drakes, the artist previously known as Monallo. These days, he uses the Monallo name for his duo and trio collaborations.
James is an award-winning Coastal folk artist who blends heartfelt songwriting, feel-good grooves, and a laid-back beach vibe into an unmistakable sound. He has been writing and performing since 2018, getting his start in the Pittsburgh, PA music scene. After years of touring the East Coast, he made his way down to Florida in 2024.
Since then, James has been performing as a duo and trio along with Jax Bowers on percussion and “Pirate Pete” Robertson on bass. For this Phlocking, James will be performing solo.
From intimate tiki bars to larger festival stages, Monallo continues to grow a dedicated following and is carving out a place as one of today’s exciting rising voices in coastal-inspired music.
Ongoing Food Pantry Donations
In addition to our May charity drive, we are also continuing to collect non-perishable food items for the local food pantry.
These monthly donations truly make a difference, and the need continues year-round. If you’re attending the Phlocking, please consider bringing a few pantry items along with your other donations.
Thank you for helping our club support the community in so many ways.
