October Phlocking Charity:
Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County: Building Brighter Futures
This month, we’re proud to shine a light on the Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County, an organization that has been creating hope and opportunity for local youth since its inception in 1997.
For nearly three decades, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County has welcomed young people from diverse economic, social, and family backgrounds, helping them build the skills, confidence, and character they need to become responsible, compassionate, and productive citizens.
Making a Difference for Local Youth
Community partners play an important role in shaping the lives of our nation’s young people. With direct access to the youth who need support most, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County is able to make a meaningful and lasting difference through comprehensive programs and services.
Each year, the organization serves approximately 350 young people, with membership projected to grow to more than 425 during the current academic year. Their doors are open to boys and girls ages 6 to 18, regardless of race, religion, creed, national origin, or socio-economic background.
Helping Kids Learn, Grow & Thrive
Through their after-school and summer programs, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County provides:
A safe haven for learning and personal growth
Enduring relationships with caring and supportive adult professionals
Enriching programs and experiences that cultivate character development
Hope and opportunity for boys and girls throughout Charlotte County
As the needs of children and their families change, the organization continues to adapt its programs and services. Every day, their goal is to help young members build self-esteem, courage, positive values, and the skills they need for a brighter future.
September Phlocking Entertainment: Aubrey Wollett
Aubrey Wollett returns to entertain us at the October gathering at TT’s. She resides in the Tampa Bay area but has spent a lot of time in Nashville. She originally worked on the business side of the industry for one of the top songwriters, Dallas Davidson, who has written hits for Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and Jason Aldean.
Aubrey has toured all over the U.S. and has opened for Tanya Tucker, Wynonna Judd, Maddie & Tae, LoCash, and Kristian Bush. Her single “Saltwater Gypsy” premiered on CMT, and won Music Video of the year at the International Singer Songwriter Association Awards. Her single “Boots on the Beach” reached #5 on The Country Network Music Video charts, and in 2024 she won TRMA’s Female Vocalist of the Year.
Aubrey adds a refreshing beach vibe to country music with a captivating sound and catchy songs. Join us at the October phlocking and enjoy her smooth soulful voice, acoustic guitar playing, and relatable lyrics.
