I haven’t lived in Florida all my life but when my dad moved down to the Fort Lauderdale area I began visiting then. I hadn’t been to the Gulf Coast side until 2017 when I began to do travel nursing. I’ve been an RN for34yrs working in a variety of care settings. Originally, I’m from Romeo, Michigan but raised my kids in Muskegon, MI. I absolutely fell in love with SWFL and all it has to offer. I had heard of Jimmy Buffet previously, but it wasn’t until I moved to Punta Gorda that I fell in love with his music and trop rock in general. A friend introduced me to the Charlotte Harbor Parrot Club and knew I had to join also. I admire what the CHPHC does for our community and all that it stands for. I’m honored to be part of this group!
