I’m a native Floridian (no, really!), born and raised in Fort Pierce. Following graduation from Florida Atlantic University, and having no prospects other than law school, I joined the U.S. Navy to see the world and seek fame and fortune on the high seas. Finding neither in over 27 years, I tied up to the docks in Kingston, WA, to start my second career at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Twelve years later, my wife, Calypso Carol, and I moved to Punta Gorda in 2021. I had been introduced to the Parrothead life by the Parrot Heads of Puget Sound. I quickly fell in love with the music (Trop Rock/Coastal Americana/Beach Music/etc.) and the artists that toured through the Pacific Northwest every summer. I joined CHPHC in May of 2021, and volunteered to become the Secretary in January 2022. When not banging away at my laptop’s keyboard, I enjoy supporting live music anywhere in south Florida, from the Riviera Bar and Grill to TT’s Tiki Bar to Winesett House and Perch 360 at the Wyvern Hotel. Hope to see all of you out there as Charlotte Harbor is truly the capital of Trop Rock music.
